Helen Georgopoulos
Sound Designer – Helen Georgopoulos is an accomplished sound designer with deep roots in the music technology industry, combining creative expertise in audio production with a strong background in sales, marketing, and software innovation. She holds a diploma in Audio Production and Engineering from Metalworks Institute and has also pursued academic studies at the University of Toronto.
Helen’s career highlights include her role as Director of Sales & Marketing at WaveDNA, a Toronto-based company known for developing innovative music software. There, she was instrumental in the international launch and promotion of Liquid Rhythm and Liquid Music, two groundbreaking tools in rhythm and composition.
Earlier in her career, Helen worked at Avid Technology, a global leader in audio and video solutions, where she gained hands-on experience with industry-leading production tools and workflows. Her combined expertise in sound design, music technology, and community engagement makes her a vital creative force behind the music division at Dailies (DAIL).
Born from the tradition of film dailies, the raw, uncut reels revealing a story in motion, we approach each day as a creative iteration in the art of production. Each reel is a snapshot of discovery, a work in progress. We carry that spirit forward, refining, experimenting, and advancing the creative process. It's about progress: one frame, one cut, one idea at a time.
